ONNEC Group in London is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function across infrastructure cabling and data centre projects. You will drive budget control, risk management, and profitable delivery while collaborating with project teams and clients.

This hands-on leadership role requires mentoring QSs, overseeing cost reporting and procurement, and promoting proactive risk mitigation across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior QS or commercial leadership experience in construction, infra or data centres.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and cost control capabilities.
• Proven experience leading commercial teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and commercial risk management.
• Hands-on leadership style driving commercial performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commercial and financial performance of major infrastructure and data centre projects with budget control, forecasting, profitability and risk management.
• Mentor and develop QSs and commercial teams to raise standards and career growth.
• Oversee cost reporting, valuations, procurement, variations, cashflow and audits.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Planners, clients and contractors to ensure delivery and compliance.
• Support contract management, risk mitigation, final accounts and settlements while protecting margins.
• Lead stakeholder engagement during reviews, client meetings and bid activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes, systems, reporting and governance.
• Align planning with programme management, controls and performance reporting.
• Promote early resolution of issues and disputes with effective contract administration.
• Contribute to long-term commercial strategy and growth.
