Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Quality Automation Engineer in Manchester to lead the testing of complex software solutions for clients. You’ll blend hands-on automation with leadership to drive quality outcomes across domains and stacks.

You’ll work with Java, C#, TypeScript or Python, and apply GenAI-driven approaches while testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure). On-site collaboration with clients is required at times.

Qualifications

• Passion for improving quality and software delivery.
• Hands-on with modern Quality Engineering concepts including automated testing.
• Experience with one OO language (Java/C#/TS/Python).
• Familiar with GenAI applications and cloud testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement quality strategies and testing plans.
• Lead others in hands‑on testing and automation delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve processes.
• Contribute to internal and regional Quality Engineering communities.
