Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage pre-construction commercial activity, budgets, and CVR reporting across roofing, window, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and electrical upgrades. You will lead a team and coordinate with L&Q and delivery teams to ensure value for money.

The role emphasizes commercial leadership, governance, and cost control within a rapidly expanding infrastructure group in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally pre-construction.
• Strong knowledge of CVR, cost planning and budget management.
• Experience leading commercial teams and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-construction commercial function with robust governance.
• Own budgets, cost plans and forecasting across projects.
• Manage CVR processes and financial reporting to senior leadership.
• Lead a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors and develop talent.
• Direct procurement strategies and early supply chain engagement.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
