Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences is seeking a Senior QC Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on leading QC laboratory activities, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance, and releasing products through analytical testing using HPLC and GC.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Sciences and at least 5 years of GMP QC/Analytical experience, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Proactive leadership and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Control/Analytical experience within a GMP environment.
• Proficiency with HPLC/GC and spectroscopy techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading a team of analysts in the QC laboratory, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.
• Reviewing Batch Manufacturing Documents and analytical results for product release.
• Performing analytical testing of samples for release, stability, and validation with HPLC/GC.
• Assigning duties to analysts based on release requirements and maintaining lab operations.
• Reviewing and approving product labels for Production use.
• Preparing and reviewing SOPs, Raw Material Documents, Analytical Test Reports, and Validation Protocols.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting analytical methods; maintaining equipment.
• Ensuring laboratory housekeeping meets required standards.
• Supporting inspection readiness and promoting continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with QA and Production teams for seamless operations.
• Reviewing analytical data against pharmacopeial specifications.
