W Talent are recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for a site-based role in the Bradford area, responsible for overseeing the QA function and maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, legality and hygiene across the operation.

The role suits an experienced QA professional who enjoys a hands-on manufacturing environment, leading a team and working closely with Production and Operations to maintain and improve standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing QA within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in SALSA‑accredited manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of food safety legislation and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• HACCP Level 3 or above.
• Food Safety Level 3 or above.
• Internal auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Quality Assurance team and priorities.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage audits, non-conformances and CAPAs.
• Support HACCP reviews and food safety initiatives.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee internal audit programmes covering GMP, hygiene, CCPs and quality systems.
• Support external audits, customer visits and inspections.
• Monitor quality trends, KPIs, complaints and testing results.
• Coach production teams on food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production and Operations to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
