Job summary

Quantum in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering lead to drive test strategy across iGaming and Rewards products. You will build automation frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, guide CI pipelines, and coach engineers on testing best practices.

This is a hands-on role where you write framework code early, then scale impact through tooling and mentoring. You will own quality metrics, improve end-to-end coverage, and collaborate with product managers to ensure

Qualifications

• Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript and production-grade test code.
• Deep experience with a modern browser automation framework (Playwright preferred; Cypress migration in progress).
• Track record designing test strategy across the full testing pyramid for web products and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy across unit, integration, contract and end-to-end levels.
• Build and own automation framework in Playwright and TypeScript for web UIs and APIs.
• Improve CI feedback speed and reliability.
• Bring end-to-end suite to a healthy state and scale with platform growth.
• Coach developers to write and own tests and provide clear examples.
• Set up test data and environments for realistic, safe testing.
• Introduce performance and load testing for core applications.
• Collaborate with product managers to ensure testable acceptance criteria.
