Job summary

Jobsinkent seeks a hands-on Lead Python Engineer to shape scalable Python apps, set high engineering standards and mentor the team. You will stay engaged in design and development while guiding others to perform at their best.

You will lead architectural decisions, drive API/microservice design, CI/CD and secure development, and collaborate closely with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Broad experience building production Python software.
• Experience in Lead/Technical-Lead roles and mentoring teams.
• Strong software architecture and OO design knowledge.
• Experience with APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficient in cloud environments and automated testing.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and infra automation.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; relational and NoSQL DBs.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable Python applications.
• Set coding, testing, architecture, and delivery standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across the team.
• Mentor engineers and support their development.
• Collaborate with product, delivery and engineering stakeholders.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and resolve issues.
• Address technical debt while balancing delivery priorities.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across services and APIs.
• Drive CI/CD, tooling improvements, and automation.
• Champion secure development and strong testing practices.
