Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking an experienced Python Developer with team leadership to guide a small tech team in London. You will deliver features, refactor the core banking platform, and work in a 50/50 split between architecture/design and people management.

Hybrid work model with office days in London and remote work up to twice per week. Strong skills in Python, APIs, cloud services, and CI/CD are essential; CS fundamentals and a STEM degree with 2:1 are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Python developer with full SDLC.
• Team leadership and mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience building APIs (FastAPI preferred).
• Strong CI/CD, testing and deployment knowledge.
• Solid CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Head up a small tech team to deliver features and refactor the core banking platform.
• Balance architecture/design work with people management (approximately 50/50).
• Mentor junior developers and conduct 1-2-1s and performance reviews.
• Define standards and foster continuous improvement and self development.
