Job summary

Oliver Bernard is recruiting a Lead Data Engineer for a high-growth PropTech scale-up in the UK. You will own the data platform and drive the next chapter of the data strategy, designing, building, and evolving a modern platform from scratch.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to embed data into key commercial and operational decisions, build scalable pipelines and cloud infrastructure, and set engineering standards while mentoring future hires.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data platform initiatives and delivering scalable data infrastructure.
• Strong SQL and Python development for data processing and transformation.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tooling (dbt, Airflow, visualization).

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll design, build, and evolve a modern data platform from scratch - setting engineering standards, shaping architecture, and influencing how data powers the business
