Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python or Java
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Practical cloud-native development experience
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and data handling

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve complex problems
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' code
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation and value
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams to probe architectural designs and applicability
