Forvis Mazars UK in London is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager (SN2) to lead audits for local government, NHS, and central bodies, from planning to completion. You will supervise juniors, manage client relationships, and ensure timely, high-quality audit work.

You will apply UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, review outputs with senior staff, and contribute to firm-wide quality and development initiatives in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Formación

• ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent).
• Experience in external audit, ideally with publicly funded bodies such as local authorities, central government departments, NHS trusts, and other government-aligned organisations.
• Experience leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, with increasing responsibility for managing client relationships.
• Supervising and coaching audit trainees and seniors, with ability to delegate effectively and review work to a high standard.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102), IFRS, and the Companies Act.

Responsabilidades

• Audit delivery for local government, NHS, and central bodies, from planning through to completion.
• Planning and scoping audits, managing resources and timelines.
• Apply UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge and escalate complex issues.
• Draft key reporting outputs and review with Managers/Partners.
• Lead and supervise audit assistants and seniors during fieldwork.
