Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QS/Commercial lead role.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Excellent ability to assess contract documents and requirements.
• Flexible travel between Head Office and UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Validate tender and construction budgets to ensure margins.
• Prepare project costs and valuations; issue tenders to sub-contractors.
• Meet clients and senior management to report progress.
• Procurement of materials and plant from inception to completion.
• Prepare and submit final accounts; manage variations and CVR reporting.
• Maintain site records and contract variations.
• Monitor progress on site and report monthly CVR to Commercial Director.
• Mentor junior commercial team members.
• Review JCT/NEC contracts and contract law.
