Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a major 10-year planned works framework for a national contractor. You will own commercial outcomes across planned maintenance, social housing, and refurbishment programmes, with support from an Assistant QS and possibly an Administrator.

You will validate costs, negotiate prices, and manage valuations, cashflows and reports to keep the framework on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with framework contracts and long-term programmes.
• Strong commercial management and financial reporting skills.
• Experience in planned maintenance/planned works and refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial lead on the 10-year planned works framework.
• Validate costs, manage valuations and payments.
• Prepare pricing submissions and CVRs for client approval.
• Manage cashflows and project forecasts.
• Oversee sub-contractor procurement and payments.
• Provide commercial advice to stakeholders and teams.
• Mentor and support the Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
