Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Cardiff / South Wales is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead utilities and water infrastructure schemes from inception to completion. You will own delivery, manage client relationships and ensure safety, programme performance and commercial control.

The role requires NEC contracts expertise, SMSTS/CSCS and a full UK driving licence, with a strong pipeline and clear progression opportunities within a regional contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering utilities or water infrastructure projects (essential).
• Experience working within framework environments or repeat-client models.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to drive programme performance and manage delivery risk.
• SMSTS, CSCS and full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day delivery of utilities and water infrastructure projects.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain performance.
• Driving programme planning and coordination across live schemes.
• Maintaining commercial control, including variations and cost tracking.
• Acting as main client interface on project delivery matters.
• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and framework requirements.
• Supporting pre-construction, planning and mobilisation activities.
