Job summary

Lanesra Technical Recruitment is recruiting two Civil Project Managers - Water for a Tier 1 D&B contractor delivering water and wastewater projects in the North West for United Utilities. You will report to the Project Director and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on-time project delivery from award through handover.

You will need substantial civil engineering project experience, NEC contract knowledge, and strong stakeholder skills; qualifications include HNC/HND or Degree in Civil

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing project risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction qualification.
• HNC/HND or equivalent construction or engineering qualification.

Position: Civil Project Manager - Water (X2)

Location: United Utilities Region

Salary Guide: £70,000 - £80,000 Plus Bonus, Car/Allowance & Excellent Package

Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for United Utilities and they are recruiting for two Civil Project Managers to help deliver these projects throughout the North West.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be accountable for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of projects from contract award through to client handover. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, oversee programme and commercial performance, administer NEC contracts and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of major projects whilst developing high-performing teams and building long-term client relationships.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering civil engineering, water, utilities or infrastructure projects. You will be a confident leader who can manage multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships and successfully deliver projects in complex operational environments.
