Job summary

Greater London Authority in London is seeking a Project Manager within the Mayor's Infrastructure Coordination Service to lead technical and project management activity supporting the New Homes Accelerator London programme. You will bring together developers, utilities and policymakers to accelerate housing delivery by coordinating infrastructure connections and development delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Infrastructure, Construction, Development or related discipline.
• Experience navigating utility connection processes with developers, utilities and regulators.
• Strong technical understanding of electricity, water, drainage or other utilities.
• Track record leading complex infrastructure or utility-related projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management across organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of technically complex housing-infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with developers, utility providers, boroughs and government partners.
• Produce guidance and best-practice to accelerate infrastructure connections.
• Oversee consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on time and budget.
