Job summary

Greater London Authority’s Infrastructure Coordination Service is seeking a Project Manager to lead technical and project management activity supporting the New Homes Accelerator London programme. You will drive delivery by coordinating utilities, development partners and public sector stakeholders to unlock housing through smarter infrastructure planning.

You will manage a portfolio of complex projects, provide expert input on utility connections and infrastructure delivery, and ensure lessons

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Infrastructure, Construction, Development, Planning or a related discipline.
• Proven experience navigating utility connection processes for development with utility providers, developers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and project management activity to support the New Homes Accelerator London programme.
• Coordinate with developers, utility providers, boroughs, government partners and transport organisations to deliver practical infrastructure solutions.
• Provide expert input on utility connections, infrastructure coordination and development delivery; manage consultants and project teams.
• Produce reports, case studies and best-practice guidance; share lessons learned to influence industry approaches and policy.
• Represent the GLA at meetings and events; build relationships with senior stakeholders across City Hall, government and industry.
