Job summary

Greater London Authority seeks a Project Manager, Infrastructure Coordination, to lead cross-organisation efforts accelerating housing delivery in London through skilled infrastructure coordination. You will engage developers, utilities, boroughs and partners to identify practical solutions and oversee consultants delivering on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Infrastructure, Construction, Development, Planning or related discipline.
• Proven experience navigating utility connection processes for development with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong technical understanding of electricity, water, wastewater, drainage, gas, telecommunications, infrastructure delivery or housing development.
• Track record of resolving complex infrastructure challenges to accelerate delivery.
• Experience leading complex projects, managing budgets, risks, consultants and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to produce reports, presentations and briefings for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical guidance and best practice for infrastructure coordination across London.
• Coordinate with developers, utility providers, boroughs, government partners and transport organisations to deliver practical solutions.
• Provide expert insight on utility connections and development delivery to accelerate housing timelines.
• Manage consultants and project teams to deliver high-quality technical work on time and within budget.
• Produce reports, case studies and guidance capturing lessons learned to influence policy.
