Job summary

UK Power Networks Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Chatham to lead customer connection and diversion projects up to 11kV within the Client Connections team. You will manage a portfolio from initial enquiry to handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires proven project management experience, NRSWA knowledge, and a recognized PM qualification. A full UK driving licence and MS Project proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience with electrical/utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of NRSWA/Street Works requirements and contract administration.
• PRINCE2 or APM PMQ certification preferred; MS Project proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery from enquiry to handover.
• Oversee programme management, forecasting, and commercial performance.
• Coordinate risk management, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide site oversight and governance, with contractor coordination.
• Ensure safety, budget, and schedule adherence to UK Power Networks standards.
