Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Subsea Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aberdeen. This senior role provides leadership and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of client work scopes. The Lead Subsea Project Engineer will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring technical excellence, and supporting business growth.

Reports to

Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead onshore and offshore project engineering activities
  • Mentor and develop engineers within the team
  • Support tenders, proposals, and project management
  • Develop client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Manage subcontractors, technical documentation, and resource planning
  • Conduct technical audits, design reviews, and supervise assigned personnel
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role within subsea/offshore engineering
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and full project lifecycle
  • Experience with offshore operations such as DSV/CSV construction, rigid/flexible pipelay, heavy lifting, mooring, and vessel mobilisations
  • Offshore experience is desirable
Qualifications
  • University degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred
