Job summary

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are implementing the NHS People Portal. A Programme Manager is sought to lead the delivery across two trusts, combining strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to drive workforce transformation.

The role focuses on governance, interdependencies, stakeholder engagement and adoption of new digital processes, with a fixed-term 12-month horizon and potential for secondments.

Qualifications

• Masters-level education or equivalent in a relevant field such as digital health, workforce systems, information technology, or healthcare management.
• Project/programme management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile) and ongoing professional development.
• Proven experience delivering complex digital programmes in health or social care settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain an integrated programme plan across two Trusts with milestones and dependencies.
• Apply robust programme management methods to manage scope, timescales, risks, issues and interdependencies.
• Establish governance, produce progress reports, and ensure senior decision-maker escalations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver on shared priorities.
• Support staff engagement, communication and adoption of new digital processes.
