Job summary

Candour Talent are recruiting a Production Supervisor for a Port Talbot manufacturing facility. You will lead a skilled team, drive performance, and ensure safe, reliable, high-quality production in a fast-moving environment.

Seeking a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, maintenance awareness, and a passion for coaching operators across shifts. You will work closely with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/high-speed manufacturing or similar automated production.
• Experience in leading and coaching teams.
• Ability to implement Lean, SMED, and RCAs.
• Strong planning and training skills.
• Proficient with data interpretation and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall technical leadership, development, and continuous improvement of the production section.
• Day-to-day responsibility for technical performance, people development, machine/equipment condition, tooling readiness, process control, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with the maintenance engineering team during planned maintenance windows, shutdowns, and major engineering interventions.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead initiatives as the technical expert for the production area.
• Train and develop operators and team leaders across all shifts, providing technical support and coaching.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Technical, HSE, Planning, Tooling, and external suppliers to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality production.
