Job summary

Morepeople 01780 is recruiting a Production Manager for a growing food manufacturing SME. You will oversee three shifts, lead and develop the Shift Management team, and shape a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement while delivering the production plan.

You will drive key KPIs, support lean initiatives, maintain GMP standards and work closely with Planning, Engineering, HR, Warehouse and Supply Chain to optimise performance and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production/Manufacturing Manager in food manufacturing.
• Proven track record of improving KPIs and performance.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, quality and GMP.
• Experience leading multi-shift teams and communicating across functions.
• Lean, CI or TPM exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Shift Managers and production teams.
• Drive safety, quality, labour efficiency, productivity, waste, OEE and plan attainment.
• Build a culture of accountability and engagement.
• Ensure production plans are delivered safely and on service levels.
• Maintain high standards of GMP and compliance.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, HR, Warehouse and Supply Chain.
• Ensure consistency across shifts.
