Job summary

A-SAFE in Elland, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to lead a busy production shift on Continental 4-on/4-off cycles. You will oversee operatives, maintain safety and quality, and drive performance against plan while coordinating handovers and documentation.

You will monitor lines, manage inventories, run audits and support continuous improvements across the shift to protect product integrity and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams on a production floor.
• Strong safety‑first mindset and process adherence.
• Clear written and spoken English for shift updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Operatives across the shift and set priorities.
• Monitor lines, coordinate activity and ensure targets are met.
• Audit, record performance, and manage inventory on shift.
• Ensure products are packaged, labelled and stored correctly.
• Maintain 5S, handovers, and SOPs for the shift.
