Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Planning Manager in Ashington, Northumberland for a permanent, full-time, office-based role. The position offers a GBP60,000–GBP75,000 per annum salary depending on experience, with standard hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:00am to 3:00pm Friday.

Qualifications

• Requires background as a planner in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience leading a planning team.
• Relevant qualification in construction, manufacturing or planning.
• Experience building project or production programmes with planning software.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the planning team, allocating workloads and setting standards for planning and reporting.
• Oversee project programmes from design to installation, coordinating with Technical and Contracts.
• Lead factory capacity planning balancing orders and forecast demand with resources.
• Maintain milestones and schedules, ensuring manufacturing schedules are accurate and issued on time.
• Track outputs, identify bottlenecks and agree recovery plans with teams.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Contracts to align deliveries with production progress.
• Improve planning systems and reporting for senior management visibility.
