Job summary

Addition, a fast-growing cyber security technology business in Leeds, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape strategy and lead a SaaS platform. You will own the roadmap, work with engineering in an agile setup, and influence go-to-market with sales and marketing.

Hybrid role with two days in the office and strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring junior team members as the product function scales.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product management within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong backlog ownership and roadmapping experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with agile development practices and ceremonies.
  • Ability to translate customer insights into product requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, customer success and marketing teams.
  • Data-driven decision making and KPI/OKR tracking.
  • Experience with data-driven or AI-enabled products would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

Join a fast-growing cyber security technology business that’s helping organisations build stronger human defences against evolving threats. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape product strategy, influence business direction, and play a key part in scaling an established SaaS platform.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap and long-term strategy.
  • Take full ownership of the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Lead product discovery activities, including customer interviews, feedback sessions and market research.
  • Translate customer and commercial insights into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams.
  • Work closely with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, supporting agile ceremonies and driving successful outcomes.
  • Make informed prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, technical feasibility and commercial impact.
  • Track product performance through KPIs and OKRs, using data to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success and marketing teams to support go-to-market initiatives and customer engagement.
  • Provide product expertise during customer conversations and help shape messaging around new features and releases.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to inform future product direction.
  • Mentor and support junior product team members while championing a product-led culture across the business.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Experience working for a smaller organisation such as a start up or scale up is essential.
  • Proven experience in a product management role within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong background owning and managing complex product backlogs, including prioritisation frameworks and roadmap planning.
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with software development teams in agile environments.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial, sales and customer success teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of customer discovery, user research and translating insights into product requirements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent product management platforms.
  • Confident using data, metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decisions.
  • Experience working on data-driven or AI-enabled products would be advantageous.
  • A commercial background in sales or customer success would be desirable.
