Job summary

Monzo is expanding its design team and seeks passionate designers to shape its future, with a focus on web experiences. You will blend strong visual and interaction craft with a data-informed mindset, using experimentation and customer insight to continuously improve the experience.

You’ll work with Product, Engineering, Data and Research to solve complex problems, balance user needs with business goals, and contribute to the broader design strategy.

• Strong portfolio showing high-quality web design craft.
• Experience designing for growth and web experiences.
• Ability to use data to inform design decisions.
• Excellent collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high-quality web experiences for new and existing users.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Hypothesize, design experiments, and iterate based on findings.
• Apply craft to web experiences that balance speed with polish.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data and Research throughout the design process.
• Partner with AI tools to enhance design workflows where appropriate.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to the Design team's growth and success.
