Monzo is seeking an experienced Lead Brand Designer to shape its visual identity and drive high-quality design solutions across branding, typography and motion. You will lead a small design team, mentor peers, and collaborate with product, marketing and external agencies to maintain brand consistency.

Your role combines hands-on design with strategic brand stewardship, ensuring campaigns, web designs, and product interfaces reflect Monzo's identity while pushing creative standards.

Formación

• Strong branding and identity portfolio across branding, art direction and typography.
• Experience leading design projects from ideation to delivery.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced tech startups or creative agencies on global brands.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong typography skills and experience in both web and print design.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end branding projects with cross-functional teams (marketing, product design, engineers).
• Manage a small design team and mentor others using internal leveling frameworks.
• Guard brand guidelines and guide external agency partners on design and concepts.
• Develop, evolve and maintain brand identities across all touchpoints.
• Hands-on design contribution in Figma; refine typography and animate assets where needed.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and engineers to deliver cohesive design solutions.
• Demonstrate strong concept art direction and motion for in-app experiences with product teams.
