We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Product Analyst to join our Product team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancement, make informed recommendations, and contribute to the strategic direction of our two sided marketplace platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, market trends, and a strong ability to work with or mentor other analysts in the team to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights
Collect, clean, monitor and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and user behaviour.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key product metrics.
Conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes.
Provide actionable insights to guide product development and enhancements.
Understanding User Behaviour
Deeply understand user behaviour, needs, and pain points on both sides of the marketplace.
Create user personas and journey maps to inform product design and development.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers by providing data-driven insights that can be used to optimise user interfaces
Product Strategy
Collaborate with Product Managers to define product goals and KPIs.
Participate in product roadmapping and prioritise features and improvements based on data analysis.
Assist in defining and tracking success metrics for product launches.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation by sharing best practices and insights.
Continuous Learning
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and product analytics.
Continuously improve data collection processes and tools.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).
7+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, or similar role in a 2-sided marketplace or e-commerce environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
Strong knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Experience with A/B testing, experiment design, and statistical analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
A passion for data-driven decision-making and product improvement.
