Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Process Safety professional to join our team remotely from the UK. The role involves conducting risk assessments, investigating failures, and collaborating on innovative survey processes, including virtual assessments, to enhance safety and risk management for clients in the refinery, chemical, petrochemical, COMAH, or hydrogen sectors.

Qualifications:

• A relevant first degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in the relevant sectors, with prior experience as a Survey Risk Engineer in insurance or related fields. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify risk characteristics and evaluate safety measures.
• Investigate significant failures to determine responsibility and improve safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities to optimize risk selection and assessment processes, including virtual surveys.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement innovative survey methods and improve existing tools and technology.
