Job summary

Arthur Recruitment is working with a market-leading personal lines insurer seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst to head the motor pricing team. You will drive analytics to refine pricing strategies and uplift volume and profitability while elevating pricing capabilities across the business.

You will manage, coach and develop Pricing Analysts, validate predictive models and deploy rate changes, and deputise for the Pricing Manager in meetings with senior management, influencing strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming languages such as SQL, SAS or Python.
• Experience with Emblem and Radar pricing tools.
• Experience with predictive modelling techniques (e.g., Logistic Regression, GLMs, GBMs).
• Coaching junior staff and developing pricing skills.
• Ability to explain advanced statistics to non-statistical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Management, development and coaching of Pricing Analysts and Senior Pricing Analysts.
• Validate, review and approve predictive and machine learning models.
• Carry out deployment/send instructions for rate releases and review of rates into rate engine/live environment.
• Deputise for the Pricing Manager or Senior Pricing Manager where required, including meetings with senior management.
