Job summary

Blue Diamond Recruitment, working with a leading residential developer, is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager in Birmingham to lead projects from early appraisal through to start on site.

You will coordinate consultants, internal teams and external stakeholders; drive value engineering and procurement strategies; support bids and tenders; and ensure a smooth technical and commercial handover to construction teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pre-construction within residential development.
• Strong technical, commercial and programme management skills.
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full pre-construction process from appraisal to site start.
• Coordinate consultants, internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Drive value engineering, procurement strategies and risk management.
• Support bids, tenders and client presentations.
• Ensure a smooth technical and commercial handover to construction teams.
