• Experience as a Design Manager in construction.
• Experience managing consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet multiple deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design process from pre-construction to project completion.
• Manage design consultants and subcontractors to deliver design information on programme.
• Review Employer's Requirements and Contractor's Proposals for compatibility.
• Oversee design coordination during construction and resolve issues.
• Chair and minute design meetings and track actions to completion.
• Monitor design programmes and identify risks with mitigation.
• Collaborate with project, commercial and site teams to align outputs with programme, budget, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and client specifications.
