Qualifications

  • Experience as a Practice Nurse with a focus on Cytology, Immunisations, and Dressings.
  • At least one Chronic Disease qualification, preferably at Diploma level.
  • Organized with the ability to lead small teams and mentor junior staff.

Lead Practice Nurse

Full Time Hours, over 4 days (flexible)

We have an exciting opportunity, for a Practice Nurse in Leeds!

A close-knit, friendly GP Practice are looking to welcome a new Practice Nurse, to lead their team of nurses and HCAs. They are offering up to full time hours over 4 days per week (and can be slightly flexible with hours for the right candidate).

Centre Requirements
  • Cytology
  • Immunisations
  • Dressings
  • At least one Chronic Disease, either Respiratory or Diabetes (Diploma Level)
  • Leadership experience is not required (although it would be a bonus), as the centre are happy to invest training in the right candidate.
  • They are looking for a well-organised nurse, who is happy to extend their skillset into leadership tasks such as Mentorship, Appraisals and generally leading a small team of staff, alongside their clinical duties. This would be an excellent next career step for an experienced Practice Nurse, hungry for their next challenge!

Salary is dependent on experience. The nursing team consists of one other Practice Nurse, 2 HCAs and a GP Assistant. They have 4 GP Partners and a salaried Part Time GP.
