Job summary

The Bank of England, based in Leeds, is recruiting a Lead Policy Analyst within the Prudential Policy Directorate's Governance, Accounting, Resilience and Data division. You will shape policy on banks' reporting and disclosure, engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive robust policy outcomes.

• Experience analysing information from a range of sources to develop practical recommendations to improve processes and outputs to management
• Clear communication skills and ability to present information concisely to varied audiences
• Ability to make sound judgements based on incomplete or conflicting information or views

Responsibilities

• Lead on policy development and implementation related to reporting and disclosure for banks
• Contribute to Pillar 3 disclosure policy for banks and reflect changes to regulatory reporting and accounting standards
• Design improvements to bank regulatory reporting through the Future Banking Data programme
• Own and manage queries on bank reporting with analysts support
