JTL is seeking an experienced Plumbing Training Officer to support Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing apprentices across the region. The role involves monitoring progress, conducting workplace visits, and coordinating with employers to ensure successful completion of apprenticeship programmes.

You will mentor apprentices, assess their competencies, and help them meet gateway and end-point requirements while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding across delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Level 3 Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification or equivalent.
• Gas qualifications if teaching/assessing gas provision and Core Gas Safety competencies.

Aufgaben

• Manage a caseload of apprentices across the region, supporting progress and completion.
• Build relationships with apprentices and employers; act as main contact.
• Conduct workplace visits and progress reviews; provide feedback and actions.
• Assess knowledge, skills and behaviours; give constructive feedback.
• Help apprentices understand gateway and end-point assessment requirements.
