Job summary

Harmonic Security Inc. in London, UK is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to own the platform security architecture and write production code to harden core systems.

You will establish standards for authentication, encryption, and multi-tenant isolation, and contribute hands-on development in Java, Terraform, and Python. This role is built for security-focused builders who prefer architecture over auditing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering with a deep specialization in security architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Java, Terraform/OpenTofu, and AWS security fundamentals such as IAM and container management.
• Secure-by-design mindset with experience hardening SaaS platforms for enterprise compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture for the platform, including secrets management, multi-tenant isolation, and encryption at rest/in transit.
• Write production code in Java, Terraform, and Python to harden security patterns across core AI Governance and Control systems.
• Perform threat modeling and architecture reviews for major new systems to ensure security is designed in from the start.
