Job summary

Astute People is recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy provider for a Plant Manager at an anaerobic digestion site in Gloucestershire. The role offers a £55,000 salary with a £5,000 bonus and a £550 monthly car allowance.

You will oversee safety, operations, budgeting and compliance, lead the engineering team, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the plant, with some UK travel.

Qualifications

• Background in process-intensive plant operations and waste/AD sector.
• Understanding of financial and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with project management and stakeholder relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient operation of the AD plant and site operations.
• Manage budgeting, planning, feedstock, digestate and capital projects.
• Oversee engineering team and site-wide responsibilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and KPI reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and safe working practices.
