Job summary

Selwood Housing in the South West is seeking a Planning Team Leader (Senior Planner) to guide a high-performing planning team. You will ensure repairs and maintenance work is scheduled efficiently, optimise the Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) using performance data, and support a safe, customer-focused service.

This role emphasizes developing people, driving performance, and delivering a real difference to our customers.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent experience.
• Experience of planning, scheduling and diary management.
• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team, providing clear standards, direction and performance management.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of the social housing sector.
• Experience of working with the general public and external agencies.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing planning team to schedule repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Drive performance and continuous improvement using data and the Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS).
• Collaborate with Repairs, Voids, Gas, Electrical and Customer Support to deliver safe, compliant services.
• Promote a customer-focused service with effective resource planning and workload management.
