Job summary

TWG Consulting is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to join our Bristol team to lead the development and oversight of major construction programmes across the AMP8 water framework. The role requires extensive planning leadership, experience on large civil projects and hands-on site delivery knowledge.

You will coordinate with engineering, commercial and operations to deliver integrated programmes, monitor progress, and drive change with contracting and client teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as Planning Manager or Senior Planner.
• Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction.
• Hands-on engineering or site delivery experience.
• Proven ability to develop complex construction programmes from first principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of detailed construction programmes from first principles.
• Monitor progress against baselines, identify critical paths and risks; provide look-ahead updates.
• Collaborate with commercial and project teams on change and contractual planning requirements.
• Lead programme reviews with project teams and stakeholders; ensure realistic planning with site delivery.
