Are you an experienced Project Planner with a strong background in delivering complex programmes within the Defence or Secure Infrastructure sectors?

Our client, a market-leading consultancy working on some of the UK’s most high-profile defence projects, is looking for a Lead Planner to join their expanding team. You’ll be at the heart of programme delivery, helping shape the planning strategy from concept through to completion across secure and mission-critical environments.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning function across multi-disciplinary defence programmes.
• Develop, manage and maintain detailed and integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Interface with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility of key deliverables.
• Monitor critical path, milestones, risks, and resource allocations.
• Provide regular performance reports and forecasting insights to senior leadership and clients.
• Support EVM (Earned Value Management) and change control processes.

About You:

• Proven experience in a planning/scheduling role within Defence, Aerospace, or complex infrastructure projects.
• Advanced user of Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, planning methodologies, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Eligible for SC security clearance (or currently holds SC/NSV).
• UK right to work / UK based experience required.
