Job summary

Incipio Group is seeking a hands-on Lead Pizza Chef (Junior Sous Chef) for Juno, our Italian bar and restaurant in Olympia. You will lead the pizza section, drive energy and consistency, and work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional pizzas and develop the kitchen team.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support Chef De Parties and Commis Chefs, uphold food safety standards, and help mentor junior staff while keeping the kitchen collaborative and fun.

• Experience as a Chef in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Strong passion for hospitality and high food standards.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior kitchen staff.

We're looking for a passionate and hands-on Lead Pizza Chef (Junior Sous Chef) to join the kitchen team at Juno, our new Italian bar and restaurant in Olympia. You'll take the lead on our pizza section, bringing great energy, consistency and a real love for Italian food to everything you do. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help deliver incredible pizzas, support and develop the wider kitchen team, and keep standards high while making sure the kitchen is a fun, collaborative place to work. Our Junior Sous Chefs are proactive, detail oriented leaders in the kitchen. They are true food enthusiasts; creative, passionate, and committed to impeccable standards, while ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support our Chef De Parties, Commis Chefs & Kitchen Porters in maintaining our high standards of service, leading from the front and helping to develop the skills of your team.

We empower our Junior Sous Chefs to be approachable, open, honest & respected, and give them the tools to develop their team & themselves.

What You'll Be Getting Up To

• Collaboratively deliver the menu items with confidence, precision, and pride
• Work closely with the Sous Chef & Head Chef to lead the wider kitchen team to create exceptional guest experiences
• Running the day to day operations of our kitchens
• Ensuring we are compliant, clean and safe
• Prepping for the day ahead and delegating tasks to the team to ensure success
• Supporting with stock management
• Creating new and exciting dishes for menu changes and seasonal specials
• Training and Developing your team
• Lead by example on compliance, safety, and completing e-learning and checklists
• Represent yourself and the Incipio brand with positivity, professionalism, and pride

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef in a fast paced, multi brand, enviroment
• A passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Organised, clean, and confident in maintaining food hygiene, stock rotation, and compliance
• A team player who contributes to a calm, collaborative and motivated kitchen culture
• Strong communication and willingness to train, mentor, and support junior chefs
• Energy, pace, and a genuine desire to grow your craft within a high-performance kitchen
