Job summary

The Royal Berkshire invites applications for Band 7 Lead Pharmacy Technician – Digital Medicines, Medicines Safety and Governance. Based in Reading, you will lead the implementation and optimisation of the Electronic Prescription Service across the Trust, transforming patient access to medicines.

You will require GPhC-registered technician status with hospital pharmacy/digital systems experience, and a proven track record in leading service improvements.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacy technician with hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience with digital systems and service improvement.
• Able to lead change and work collaboratively to deliver practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout and optimisation of EPS across the Trust.
• Support digital formulary development and safe prescribing.
• Use prescribing data to identify efficiencies and savings.
• Support medicines governance and incident learning.
