Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for Cancer Services to provide clinical, technical and operational leadership across Oncology, Haematology, Palliative care and Technical Services.

The post holder will act as Accountable Pharmacist for the aseptic production unit, provide QA support and lead chemotherapy electronic prescribing and EPR implementation.

Qualifications

Lead pharmacist for cancer services providing clinical, technical and operational leadership to Oncology, Haematology, Palliative care and Technical Services.
Accountable Pharmacist for the aseptic production unit with responsibility for Quality Assurance support.
Lead for chemotherapy electronic prescribing and authorising final release of products for administration to patients.
Represent the Trust at regional cancer network and participate in governance meetings.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership for cancer services and lead professional development rotations.
Develop pharmacist skills through rotations in cancer services and contribute to multidisciplinary governance.
Lead QA activities in the aseptic production unit and support the pharmacy QA technician.
