Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Associate Chief Pharmacist for Aseptic Services to lead a high‑risk, regulated service across multiple hospital sites. You will oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, PN, CIVAS and aseptically prepared medicines, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, you will drive strategy, workforce planning and service development, while maintaining budgetary control and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Budgeting, financial planning and business case development.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GCP and QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for Pharmacy Aseptic Services across the Trust.
• Lead development and implementation of the aseptic services strategy.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GCP, QA, health and safety requirements and regulations.
• Advise Chief Pharmacist on aseptic services, facilities and workforce governance.
• Oversee budgets, cost control and investment in aseptic facilities/equipment.
• Lead research, audit and regional collaborative activities in aseptic services.
