Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join the Cancer & Technical Services team at West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth. You will provide high-quality clinical pharmacy support to oncology/haematology, contribute to the aseptic unit, and help deliver expanded chemotherapy services.

Formación

• Registered as a practising pharmacist with the GPHC.
• Experience as a hospital pharmacist with ward cover in different clinical areas.
• Experience of working in a hospital-based Pharmacy Aseptic Unit.
• Desirable: Accredited to clinically screen chemotherapy and final check SACT.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a patient-focused pharmacy service within oncology and haematology teams.
• Support redesign of pharmacy workflows for the Chemotherapy Day Unit and Technical Services Unit.
• Receive formal training and accreditation in clinical screening of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT).
• Assist day-to-day operations of the unlicensed aseptic unit.
• Develop leadership by supervising rotational and trainee pharmacists.
• Contribute to clinical guideline development, audits and medicines optimisation projects.
• Deliver clinical ward-based duties as required.
• Participate in on-call, weekend/bank holiday, lunch and late-duty rotas.
