Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for Manufacturing and the role of Accountable Pharmacist for CTAS in Oxford, on site. The post focuses on aseptic dispensing for clinical trials and specialist care, with leadership of a multidisciplinary team and collaboration with QA to sustain GMP compliance.

The successful candidate will lead the unlicensed CTAS unit, support ATMPs and high-risk injectables, and contribute to the commissioning of a new CTAS

Qualifications

• UK-registered pharmacist with aseptics/manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading pharmacists and technicians.
• Willingness to develop GMP/QA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to deliver aseptically prepared and manufactured medicines for trials or specialist care.
• Act as Accountable Pharmacist for CTAS and manage unlicensed CTAS unit, ATMPs and high-risk injectables.
• Line manage Radiopharmacy & Hyperpolarising Gas Unit production managers and ensure GMP compliance.
• Release aseptic doses and ensure quality systems, worksheets and labelling meet standards.
