Job summary

Blackfield Associates seeks a Lead Process Engineer to design and deliver manufacturing process facilities and clean utilities for pharma projects, from clinical trials to large-scale production. You will lead process engineering activities from concept to detailed design and construction support, coordinating with clients and international partners to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a chemical/biochemical engineering degree, 10+ years' pharma design experience, and chartered

Qualifications

10+ years of process engineering design experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in process design and operations within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or food manufacturing environments.
Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

Lead the process engineering design of manufacturing facilities and supporting utility systems.
Produce PFDs, M&Bs, and P&IDs for processes and utilities.
Estimate utility requirements and design utility generation and distribution systems.
Develop equipment specifications, datasheets, calculations, and technical documentation.
Support facility expansion, improvement, and automation studies.
Provide technical leadership and process engineering expertise throughout project lifecycles.
Coordinate workloads and project delivery across international teams and external partners.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to successful project outcomes.
