Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in Nottingham is seeking an RN Child qualified nurse to coordinate care on the Children's Ward, deputise for Ward Managers, and lead a team to deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based care.

You will be responsible for daily ward operations, roster management, and driving clinical audits to improve practice, with opportunities for professional development in a dynamic children's hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN Child qualified nurse with substantial experience in a Children's Hospital setting as a Band 5 or Band 6 nurse.
• Ability to lead a team and manage ward operations on a daily basis.
• Strong organisational and clinical skills with a focus on safe, evidence-based care.
• Experience delivering and supporting patient care pathways and audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care on the ward and deputise for Ward Managers.
• Support the Ward Managers to ensure safe, effective running of the ward.
• Lead on rostering to provide appropriate safe staff cover.
• Act as a point of contact for patients, visitors, relatives and staff.
