Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer (PCB Design) to lead the development of PCB-based electronic systems for life sciences and pharmaceutical projects. You will drive concept-to-prototype activities, work with external partners, and ensure designs meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in circuit and PCB design, component selection, power calculations, and collaboration with manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electronic circuit design and PCB-based product development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead PCB development projects from concept to manufacture.
• Experience delivering PCB designs through prototype, testing, validation and release.
• Strong knowledge of component selection, circuit analysis and power calculations.
• Experience collaborating with PCB manufacturers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of PCB-based electronic systems from concept to prototype.
• Develop electronic circuit designs, including components and layouts.
• Assess PCB architecture to meet project requirements and manufacturability.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to optimize designs for production.
• Define and execute verification and testing to meet project standards in regulated environments.
• Support product compliance with IEC, CE, and related certifications.
